Fox is reporting that actress LeToya Luckett will be heating things up on the new season of “Rosewood.” The 35-year-old performer will have a recurring role as a new love interest for Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr., played by Morris Chestnut. Also joining the show is Eddie Cibrian.
“Rosewood” follow’s Miami’s top private pathologist and the tough-as-nails detective Annalise Villa, played by Jaina Lee Ortiz, as they investigate East Miami PD’s most challenging cases. The show’s cast also includes Lorraine Toussaint, Gabrielle Dennis, Anna Konkle and Domenick Lombardozzi.
Luckett is best known as one of the original members of the Grammy winning-girl group Destiny’s Child. She has appeared in a number of movies and television series including “Preacher’s Kid,” “Ballers,” “Single Ladies” and most recently, “Here We Go Again” on TV One. She has also been tapped to portray music legend Dionne Warwick in an upcoming biopic.
“Rosewood” returns to Fox on September 22 at 8 p.m. EST!
