Make sure you all tune into my new arts & entertainment radio program, “UPFRONT – Inside Atlanta’s Entertainment Industry.” It premieres tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. on Atlanta’s Jazz 91.9 WCLK.
As previously mentioned, “UPFRONT” takes an in-depth look at Atlanta’s arts and entertainment scene including TV, film, theater, music and more. Each Saturday, I will be conducting one-on-one interviews with all of the major players and the behind-the-scenes influencers that make Atlanta, the new Hollywood South.
My first guests will include the Executive Producer of Atlanta’s BronzeLens Film Festival, Kathleen Bertrand and acclaimed filmmaker and Spike Lee’s co-producer Monty Ross. Ms. Bertrand and I will be talking about the festival’s film entries, the Women Superstars Luncheon and all of the activities taking place August 25-28. Mr. Ross and I will be going down memory lane and chatting about the anniversaries of “She’s Gotta Have It,” “Jungle Fever” and more!
“UPFRONT” airs tomorrow at 9 a.m. on Jazz 91.9 WCLK or online at WCLK.com. The show is also sponsored by the 2016 BronzeLens Film Festival.
