Here’s a sneak peek of what London fans can expect when “Dreamgirls” premieres at the Savoy Theatre this November. It’s a video of Amber Riley singing “I Am Changing.” The former “Glee” star will be playing the role of ‘Effie’ in the London-based show and is the first actress to do so.

“Dreamgirls” tells the story of a young female singing trio, from Chicago, Illinois called ‘The Dreams’, as they learn the hard lesson that show business is as tough as it is fabulous. It features the song “I Am Changing” as well as the disco anthem “One Night Only” and the showstopper “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going.”

The original “Dreamgirls” debuted on Broadway over 35 years ago at the Imperial Theater and starred Sheryl Lee Ralph, Loretta Devine and Jennifer Holliday as ‘The Dreams.’ A film adaptation was later release in 2006 starring Beyoncé, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson, Eddie Murphy, Anika Noni Rose and Sharon Leal.
