Congrats to media personality Marc Lamont Hill. He is the host of a new VH1 show, “VH1 Live.” The late night series debuts July 17 at 10 p.m. EST.
According to THR, “VH1 Live” will feature Hill’s “raw, street savvy” approach to pop culture, entertainment and gossip. The show’s audience and social media will also play a vital role in the conversation. Hill will also have exclusive access to all of VH1’s superstars and behind-the-scenes buzz on the network’s top rated shows.
Lamont is the host of BET News and a political contributor for CNN. He is the former host of the nationally syndicated television show “Our World With Black Enterprise” and the inaugural host of “Huff Post Live.” He has received numerous prestigious awards from the National Association of Black Journalists, GLAAD, and the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. Hill is currently a Distinguished Professor of African American Studies at Morehouse College.
“VH1 Live” is being produced by Embassy Row, producers of Andy Cohen‘s “Watch What Happens Live!”
