SHEEN Magazine kicked off their “Legendary Weekend” Friday night with a fabulous Red Party at Atlanta’s Marriott Marquis. The three-day celebration marked the fashion and beauty brand’s 10th year anniversary and promised a weekend full of celebrity appearances, world-class entertainment, and empowerment seminars.
The evening began with a ribbon cutting ceremony with help from television and stage actress Angela Robinson of Tyler Perry‘s hit OWN series, “The Haves and the Have Nots.”
Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, attendees were able to shop at SHEEN’s “Ultimate Beauty Guide” featuring an array of fashion and beauty vendors. After an hour, attendees were ushered up to the main ballroom where the actual Red Party took place.
Entertainment that night was provided by a variety of new talent including the R&B quartet, Final Draft; singer Mishon; comedienne Kiana Dancie; and rapper Jazz Anderson, the daughter of reality star Tami Roman. DJ PNut provided dope sounds to get the crowd moving
“Shout Outs” to my friend and Atlanta’s “Woman on the Move” Kim McNair who served as this year’s Red Carpet host.
