Congrats to Lisa Nicole Cloud, star of Bravo TV’s “Married to Medicine.” She received the Presidential Lifetime Volunteer Award over the Memorial Day holiday from President Barack Obama as well as a Proclamation from the City of Atlanta.
The prestigious awards were given to the noted fashion designer and philanthropist during her “Teach Me to Grow with You” Conference that took place at the Twelve Hotel at Atlantic Station. As previously reported, the two-day conference was available to both singles and couples who were looking to experience healthier, happier and more meaningful relationships in their lives.
Cloud and her husband, Dr. Darren Naugles, have been raising funds for medical missions trips to Haiti through their “Fashion for a Cause” Initiative. The collaborative effort marries both Cloud’s passion for fashion and Dr. Naugles love for medicine. The couple is raising over $200,000 in medical supplies and is currently soliciting assistance from U.S. hospitals to donate medical equipment for three different Haitian hospitals.

A number of Cloud’s friends and associates appeared as guest speakers at the conference including “Braxton Family Values” star Andre Carter, Kiné Corder, Marshawn Evans, Jack Daniels, media personality Sasha the Diva, Carla Stephens from “Bravo’s Mother Funders” and her “Married to Medicine” cast mates Mariah and Dr. Aydin Huq, Dr. Jacqueline Walters and Dr. Simone Whitmore.
The President of the Atlanta’s City Council, Ceasar Mitchell and his wife Tiffany, were on hand to present the coveted Proclamation. Check out more photos below:
