I had the pleasure of attending day one of the “2nd Annual ATL Soul Music Festival” May 28 and 29 at The Wolf Creek Amphitheater.
The Memorial Day Holiday extravaganza features some of the biggest names in R&B Soul music including “R&B Diva” star Syleena Johnson, vocal guitarist Anthony David, vocalist Eric Roberson and multi Grammy winners The Robert Glasper Experiment and Lalah Hathaway. Avery*Sunshine, Rahsaan Patterson, Angie Stone, Kindred Family Soul and Goapele round out the lineup for today’s show that begins at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m.
ATL radio personalities Griff and Joyce Littel serve as this year’s hosts.
