Two of my favorites—actress Lisa Arrindell Anderson and filmmaker Princess Monique of Princess Filmz—were spotted recently at the 18th Annual African American Women Film Festival’s opening night of the thriller “The Sin Seer.” The screening took place at the Bread & Roses Gallery in New York City.
Princess Monique / Lisa Arrindell Anderson
“The Sin Seer” stars Anderson as Rose Ricard, a woman who has the gift to see into your soul. She can discern the truth from a lie and sometimes, she can perceive the very thoughts before they are formed in your mind. She uses these gifts to solve unsolved cases and bring closure where there is none. Her most recent case, unwittingly opens the doors to her own past and that of her new partner Grant Summit, played by Isaiah Washington. “Sin Seer” also includes veteran actor C. Thomas Howell, “Being Mary Jane” stars Salli Richardson and Richard Brooks along with Gregory Alan Williams.
Monique, who produced the 2014 Lifetime movie “Seasons of Love,” served as this year’s festival ambassador. “The Sin Seer” is available now on DVD!
