Congrats to R&B legend Miss Patti LaBelle and TV and Film maestro Lee Daniels! These two will recognized during the 2016 “BET Honors.” The network announced the details for next  year’s lavish award ceremony that honors five distinguished African Americans performing at exceptional levels in the areas of art, music, theater, technology and business.

Other honorees include Mellody Hobson, President of Ariel Investments; Eric H. Holder, the first African American United States Attorney General; and L.A. Reid, Chairman and CEO of Epic Records.  Multifaceted entertainer Arsenio Hall will serve as host.

“BET Honors” will be taped at the historic Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 and will premiere on Monday, February 23, 2016 at 8:00 pm* during Black History Month on BET Networks.
