New York City’s The Doe Fund recently celebrated 30 years of providing life-transforming services and support to formerly homeless and incarcerated men, veterans, and people living with AIDS at their annual benefit gala at Cipriano 42nd Street.

The swanky affair was hosted by ABC News correspondent T.J. Holmes and was attended by over 500 wealthy philanthropists and socialites. Doe Fund co-founders George and Harriet McDonald along with dozens of trainees and graduates from the Fund’s “Really, Willing & Able” program hobnobbed with guests which included actor Rockmond Dunbar, ARISE  News Anchors Lola Ogunnaike and Shannon Lanier, Miss Jessie’s hair products founder Miko Branch, PR maven Marvet Britto and more.

The program included a toast led by program director Nazarene Griffin; remarks from the Doe Fund Board Chair Richard Schaps, Ready, Willing & Able graduate Lawrence Wade and trainee Angel Lopez; a moving video presentation and a live auction that raised nearly $400,000.
