The 2015 Gentlemen’s Ball was held over the weekend in Atlanta, GA. The black-tie affair recognizes individuals who have made an impact within the LGBT community and others who have contributed towards equality for all.
This year’s honorees included acclaimed filmmaker, Patrik-Ian Polk; Congressman John Lewis; PR rockstar, Vaughn Alvarez; and others. Karamo Brown of HuffPost Live and RHOA star Cynthia Bailey served as this year’s hosts.

In addition to the awards presentation, R&B songstress Algebra Blessett graced the stage with a sultry performance. Other notables in attendance were celebrity hairstylists Derek J (Bravo’s Fashion Queens) and Terrence Davidson.
One of the evening highlights was The City of Atlanta’s recognition of event founders, Juan and Gee Sessions-Smalls, for their outstanding service to the minority LGBT community.
