KONTROL Magazine is serving up all kinds of sexiness for their new “Indulge in Fashion” Issue. The double cover features the beautifully talented Sanaa Lathan and the breathtaking Karrueche Tran.

Inside, Lathan addresses the rumors about a Love and Basketball sequel. She also dishes about her latest film, The Perfect Guy, which she executive produced alongside her co-star Michael Ealy. While Sanaa reveals she is excited about seeing so many African-American actresses on television and in films, she still feels that Hollywood has a long way to go in terms of roles for Black women.

“There have definitely been some advances, I mean never before have we had so many shows led by African-American actresses…I support and congratulate Taraji P. Henson, Tika Sumpter, Kerry Washington, and Viola Davis, but at the same more of those opportunities are needed…The solution can be to produce our own projects, as we did with Perfect Stranger, and then we need audiences to support them. At the end of the day Hollywood is a business and numbers do talk. They are going to go with what’s successful and making money.”

Karrueche Tran also has a few things to get off her chest in the November and December issue. Inside, the model talks about the ups and downs of being in the spotlight and how acting has become therapeutic. She also says that she is taking her time when it comes to relationships and reveals that she spends a lot of time alone.

“I haven’t really explored dating yet and I’m not sure if I’m mentally there just because of all the stuff that I’ve been through. It’s a lot to open up to somebody,” says Tran to KONTROL.  “I think people are intimated by the drama [from my past relationship] and not wanting to deal with it because it’s an ongoing story. I’m very guarded and very too myself.”
