The King Clan are coming together this month for a special celebration. The siblings—Dr. Bernice King, Dexter King and Martin Luther King III—will be recognizing what would have been their late sister, Yolanda Kings’s 60th Birthday.

The tribute takes place at the King Center’s Freedom Hall on Saturday, November 14 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature performances by some of Yolanda’s favorite entertainers and friends. Celebrities scheduled to appear include comedian, Jonathan Slocumb; A Different World actress, Dawnn Lewis; Atlanta jazz artists, Theresa Hightower and Milkshake as well as ATL’s  The Ballethnic Dance Company. Iconic TV and film actor, Ted Lange (The Love Boat) will also make an appearance.

In her memory, the tribute will allow some to reminiscence while exposing others to a taste of TKC’s Cultural Affairs Program that she developed and nurtured during her lifetime. There is also a closing reception that will include some of Yolanda’s favorite foods as well as a special announcement.
