Fans of tonight’s ESPN Monday Night Football game are in for a real treat!
Lucasfilms announced Sunday (October 18) that the new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will debut during halftime of the NFL game between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles in Philly. Kick-off begins at 8:15 p.m. EST.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a continuation of the George Lucas‘ epic saga and features the film’s iconic stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill along with Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Max Von Sydow.
In honor of tonight’s big reveal, Lucasfilm has also released the official new poster prominently featuring Ford and Fisher. In addition to that, fans will also get an opportunity to purchase tickets following the premiere of the trailer. There will also be a Spanish language version of the trailer that will air on ESPN Deportes simultaneously.
