Chantè Moore, Jennifer Holliday and more to appear on ‘UNSUNG’

One of my favorite shows on television, UNSUNG,  is back for another great season on TV One beginning Wednesday, October 7.  Artists profiles include R&B Divas star, Chantè Moore; original “Dreamgirl”, Jennifer Holliday; disco legends, KC & the Sunshine Band; 80’s funk band, Lakeside, 90’s R&B trio, H-Town; hip-hop star, Nate Dogg; and celebrated singer/songwriter, Kashif, who performed one of my favorite 80’s hits, “Love Changes” with Meli’sa Morgan.

Unsung is an hour-long music documentary program that goes behind-the-scenes of noted R&B and Soul music artists who at the height of their superstardom faced hardship and tragedy, which ultimately derailed their promising careers. The episodes are full of interesting testimonies from music industry insiders, friends, and family, as well as the artists themselves.
