“It’s not about how hard you can hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward…”
Acclaimed actor Michael B. Jordan proves he’s as tough as nails in the brand new trailer for CREED. As previously reported, the 28-year-old actor is teaming up with Fruitvale Station’s Ryan Coogler for a brand new story about the son of Apollo Creed, the arch rival of Rocky Balboa in the hugely popular Rocky films.
Adonis Creed (Jordan) is raised in an upper-crust home thanks to the ring riches earned by his father. The young man doesn’t have to box and his family doesn’t want him to. Yet, he has the natural instinct and gifts and potential that made his father a champion until Rocky Balboa took his crown. Creed needs a mentor and turns to Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), who is out of boxing completely and not eager to return.
Rounding out the cast is Phylicia Rashad as Mary Ann Creed, Tessa Thompson as Bianca, Tony Bellew as Pretty Ricky Conlon, Wood Harris and more. See the trailer below
CREED opens in theaters Nov. 25
