Oscar winning-actress Lupita Nyong’o is returning to her theatrical roots this fall in a New York stage production of Eclipsed.

According to S&A, the show is set in 2003 at the end of the civil war in Liberia and follows a group of women who are captives of rebels fighting the government.  The production is written by noted actress and star of The Walking Dead, Danai Gurira.

The show will be directed by Liesl Tommy and will begin previews at the Public Theater on September 29 through November 8 with opening night slated for October 14.

Next up for Nyong’o is Star Wars: Episode  VII – The Force Awakens, The Queen of Katwe and The Jungle Book.
