I had the pleasure Monday night of attending the Atlanta premiere of the new Warner Bros. film, Vacation starring Ed Helms, Christina Applegate and Chris Hemsworth. The private screening was presented by BOSSIP at the Regal Atlantic Station and was hosted by V-103’s Ryan Cameron.

A number of Atlanta celebrities came out to support the very funny movie including Love and Hip Hop Atlanta’s Yung Joc, Khadiyah and Shay Johnson; Mushiya Tshikuka from WEtv’s Cutting It in the ATL; HGTV’s Egypt Sherrod and husband, DJ Fadelf; Gocha Hawkins of WEtv’s LA Hair; Dice Dixon of LaLa’s Full Court; acclaimed visual artist, Fahamu Pecou; and noted filmmaker, Princess Monique. BOSSIP’s Janee Bolden and Danielle Canada were also present.

In Vacation, the next generation of Griswolds are at it again. Following in his father’s footsteps and hoping for some much-needed family bonding, a grown-up Rusty Griswold (Helms) surprises his wife, Debbie (Applegate), and their two sons with a cross-country trip back to America’s “favorite family fun park,” Walley World. Vacation opens nationwide TODAY.
