City of Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed hosted his 18th Annual Mayor’s Cup Reception last night at PIRCH – Kitchen & Bath in Buckhead. The invitation only event was presented in conjunction with Atlanta’s Workforce Development Agency’s Mayor’s Youth Scholarship Program, which provides Atlanta students with funds to attend any college or university.

The reception featured a select number of gourmet eats, complimentary cocktails, decadent desserts and a DJ. There was also a silent auction and photography booth. Mayor Reed, who recently celebrated his birthday, was serenaded and presented a cake from his friend and Executive Director of AWDA, Michael T. Sterling.

Atlanta notables spotted in crowd included Atlanta’s First Lady, Sarah Elizabeth Reed, LaRonda Sutton(Director of Atlanta’s Office of Entertainment), Kwanza Hall (City Councilman), Alex Davis (Bloomingdales) and I’na Saulsbery (The Starfire Group). Celebrity guests included ANTM winner and actress, Eva Marcille and former Real Housewife of Atlanta star, Sheree Whitfield.
