“Vampire Diaries” actress Kat Graham has been cast as Tammi Terrell in an upcoming biopic about the life of the fallen music star. The film, which will begin shooting next year, will follow Terrell’s career as a background singer turned Motown star. She along with her singing partner, Marvin Gaye, performed on such classic hit records as “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “Your Precious Love” and “Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing.” Sadly, Terrell was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1967 and died shortly there after in 1970 at the age of 24. The film will also coincide with Graham’s debut album that is being produced by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. [DEADLINE]
