SHEEN Magazine hosted its Inaugural Legendary Weekend Gala last night at Atlanta’s Marriott Marquis. The black-tie affair commemorated the anniversary of the publication as well as the 50th Birthday of its publisher and founder, Kimberly Chapman. Awards of Excellence were also given out to top Atlanta influencers in the categories of Photography, Wardrobe Styling, Makeup and Blogging.

The evening was kicked-off by a dazzling red carpet and was hosted by actors Mykel Shannon Jenkins and Jasmine Burke. Several Atlanta celebrities made appearances throughout the night including Claudia Jordan (RHOA), Marlo Hampton( RHOA), Palmer Williams (Tyler Perry’s Love Thy Neighbor), Christina Johnson( Atlanta Exes), Andrea Kelly (Hollywood Exes), Dr. Heavenly Kims (Married To Medicine), and Rev. Dr. Joseph Williams. Also in attendance were Mimi Faust (Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta) and HGTV’s Egypt Sherrod along with “Cutting It In The ATL” stars Beautii Joseph, Maja Sly, and Mushiya Tshikuka.

The night also included a number of stellar musical performances from D. Woods, Sammie aka Leigh Bush, and Vina Mills. R&B crooner Tony Terry delivered his classic song, “When I’m With You” while Bobby V brought everyone to the dance floor with a medley of his hits.
