The legendary music group, known for its eclectic mix of acid jazz, funk, and soul, had the crowd rockin for a magical evening featuring their biggest hits as well as tunes from their latest CD, “Amplified Soul.” Led by Jean-Paul “Bluey” Maunick, Incognito performed over 22 songs including “Roots (Back to a Way of Life),” “I Love What You Do For Me,” “Everyday,” “Deep Waters,” “Always There,” and “Still a Friend of Mine.” They also performed two of Stevie Wonder’s classics “As” and “Don’t You Worry Bout a Thing.” The show opened with bassist Khari Cabral Simmons along with vocalist, Chantae Cann and was hosted by Jazz 91.9 WCLK’s Jamal Ahmad.
