Grammy-winning producer and pop star, Pharrell Williams covers the February issue of GQ Magazine. He is 1 of 19 artists recognized in the “Musicians that Matter” feature along with Drake, Sam Smith, Iggy Azalea, iLOVEMACKONNEN, FKA Twigs and legends—Nas and Stevie Wonder.
GQ follows the “Happy” singer’s hectic schedule for 13 hours in Los Angeles as he attends a Uniqlo service project for homeless youth, tapes an episode for his hit series “The Voice,” records a performance with Voice coach Gwen Stefani and works on a song for her and Snoop Dogg. He also talks candidly about T.I.’s “Paperwork” album and why he prefers the assistance of women over men:
“Women have a way of expressing themselves that I can relate to more honestly,” he says. “I am a sensitive person, so I want to be with sensitive people.”
