I kicked-off my Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Weekend Friday evening by attending a one-night-only performance from one of my favorite EDM groups, Tortured Soul. The Brooklyn-based trio brought their live-house music show to Atlanta’s The Loft at Center Stage featuring drummer and lead vocalist, John-Christian Urich; Bassist, Jordan Scannella and Keyboardist, Isamu McGregor, who sat in for Ethan White.
The late night jam session also featured some of Atlanta’s hottest DJ’s on the 1’s and 2’s including Tabone, Naturel and Kemit. Opening the show was The Dangerfeel Newbies, who performed selections from their current album, “Hariet.” Tortured Soul thrilled the sold-out crowd with a variety of their classics hits from “Introducing Tortured Soul” and their most recent project, “Did You Miss Me?”
