I had the pleasure of covering a special screening of “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water” this afternoon. The preview took place at the Regal Atlantic Station and was attended by a few Atlanta celebrities and their children. The festivities included a screening and photo opportunities with the film’s star, SpongeBob SquarePants.

In the animated movie, SpongeBob SquarePants, goes on a quest to discover a stolen recipe that takes him to our dimension, our world, where he tangles with a pirate. The film includes the colorful voices of Slash, Clancy Brown, Antonio Banderas and many more. Pop music group, N.E.R.D, also released two fun new tracks this week contributing to the film soundtrack, Patrick Star and Sandy Squirrel.

Atlanta celebrities in attendance included “Braxton Family Values” star Towanda Braxton and her kids and Atlanta radio personality, Ramonda DeBreaux and her daughter. Actress and philanthropist, Keshia Knight-Pulliam was also there with some of the youth from her Kamp Kizzy Foundation.
