Six-time Grammy award winner Toni Braxton is among seven women who will be celebrated at the Urban League of Greater Atlanta’s 53rd Equal Opportunity Dinner on Dec. 6, 2014 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.  Braxton is being recognized not only for her career successes but for her perseverance in overcoming obstacles and her leadership in addressing Autism, heart disease and Lupus.

DeMarco Morgan, anchor at WXIA TV 11, will serve as emcee for the second year, and entertainment will be provided by the Isaac Harris band.  The ULGA also will honor Jocelyn Dorsey, Victoria Williams Jenkins, Pat Lottier, Patrise Perkins-Hooker, Alicia Phillip and Adrienne Green as women of achievement.
