take a look: Faith Evans ~ Fragile

Posted by | Ray Cornelius

Is it LOVE or is it LUST?
That’s what R&B vocalist, Faith Evans is trying to figure out in her new video for the single, “Fragile.”  The “Scandal” inspired story features a very “slimmed-down” Evans as the First Lady to Pooch Hall’s President of the United States and is set around the early 60’s. For some odd reason, Evans believes her husband is having an extramarital affair with his secretary and she wants to get to the bottom of it. “Wanna know can I trust you with my heart. All I need is your time. Won’t you make up your mind and just trust,” says Evans.  The track has a throwback feel and could have easily been sung by the late Amy Winehouse or Adele.
“Fragile” was directed by famed photographer, Derek Blanks, who also directed Michelle Williams’ video for,”If We Had Your Eyes.”  As previously reported, this video is the first of many new projects for the photographer who most recently launched his own production company.
