In efforts to promote her upcoming album, The Pink Print,  Nicki Minaj will serve as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on Dec. 6 with actor James Franco. The news was announced today via Twitter with the following caption: “On December 6, @JamesFrancoTV makes his second appearance as host with second-time musical guest, @NickiMinaj! #SNL40″. This is Minaj’s second time on the sketch comedy show having performed for the first time in 2011. In  other related news, the COMPLEX cover model, has also issued a challenge to the ladies of ABC’s The View. Reportedly, the co-hosts questioned her intelligence and knowledge of history due to her choice in some controversial art work for the cover of her single, “Only.” Offended and hurt, Minaj now wants to go toe-to-toe with the hosts during a round of hot topics to prove she’s smart and able to hold her own. The rumors of new music from Beyoncé were indeed true considering the Grammy winning performer is releasing a “Platinum Edition” to her latest album, Beyoncé. According to her Facebook page, the album is available for iTunes pre-order and will be on shelves in stores on November 24. It includes 2 new songs, 4 remixes, 10 live performances and the coveted 2015 calendar. [FACEBOOK]

The queen of Motown, Diana Ross is coming to “The Voice.” The legendary music diva will appear on the Monday, November 24  show along with Colbie Caillat, Meghan Trainor and Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy. The group will serve as mentors to contestants as they move forward with next week’s round of performances. This is not Ross’ first time serving in this capacity as she also mentored a very impressionable, Jordin Sparks during Season 6 of American Idol. [THR]
