Emmy award winning “Extra” kicks off its 21st season with two new co-hosts, Tracey Edmonds and Charissa Thompson joining Mario Lopez.
As previously mentioned, Edmonds and Thompson will serve as special correspondents on the popular entertainment news series. The two beauties are replacing Maria Menounos, who recently inked a deal with E! as well as a new partnership with NBC Universal for an upcoming series titled, Untold with Maria Menounos.
Edmonds is an award-winning producer and CEO of production company Edmonds Entertainment, whose latest project is the hit series Deion’s Family Playbook on OWN. Thompson is currently the co-host of Fox Sports Live on Fox Sports 1.
Lopez, Edmonds and Thompson will continue to broadcast from Extra’s home at Universal Studios Hollywood, the entertainment capital of Los Angeles. The trio will deliver the latest breaking news from the worlds of entertainment and pop culture from a variety of locations throughout Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk, home to world-class retailers, restaurants, thrill rides, iconic movie characters and the Studio’s famous backlot.
