Comedic actor and award-winning talk show host Steve Harvey rolled out the ‘Blue’ Carpet last night for his annual Neighborhood Awards in Atlanta, GA. The event, also known as the “Hoodies,” took place at Philips Arena and honored local businesses, religious and neighborhood leaders, churches and high school for their contributions as well as excellence within their own neighborhoods.
Award categories included “Best Hair Salon,” “Best Car Wash,” “Best Church Choir,” “Best High School Coach,” and “Best Soul Food Restaurant.”
This year’s performances featured a number of Harvey’s celebrity friends including Robin Thicke, Keith Sweat, Johnny Gill, Chrisette Michele, India.Arie, Tamela Mann and Anthony Hamilton. Celebritiy presenters included Tracee Ellis Ross, Kim Whitley, Roland Martin, Kandi Burruss, Sherri Shepherd, Shemar Moore, Earthquake, David and Tamela Mann, Yolanda Adams, Keke Palmer and more.
