Fans of Beyoncé will have an opportunity to view the Grammy-winning singer’s most recognizable costumes at the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame beginning July 22.
The new exhibit includes everything from the singer’s show stopping Givenchy gown that she wore to the 2012 Met Ball to her scantily clad white tank top and J Brand shorts she rocked in her “Crazy in Love” music video. It also features her one-sleeve black leotard from the “Single Ladies” video and her Thierry Mulger gold metal body suit with gold pumps from the “Sweet Dream” video.
“The Single Ladies video is one of the most iconic videos in Beyoncé’s visual history. It’s no doubt that the costume, replicated by thousands around the world was a result of the videos viral assault,” says Beyoncé’s personal stylist Ty Hunter.
A fixture in the music business for the past 15 years, Beyoncé’s exhibit marks the first time a non-inducted artist will have their personal items on display in the museum. Congrats Bey!
