Real Husbands of Hollywood co-creator Chris Spencer and Best Man Holiday actor Morris Chestnut hosted an evening of side splitting comedy on Sunday night titled, Eat.Drink.Laugh Atlanta. The star-studded show, benefiting the United Negro College Fund, was executive produced by Atlanta socialite Kimber Snead of KS Productions along with Atlanta’s R&B station, Magic 107.5.
Rodney Perry headlined the show
The “grown and sexy” event was held at Center Stage Atlanta and featured an impressive line-up of local comedians including Marvin Harris, Big Sean, J.J. Williamson, and Lavar Walker. Bounce TV’s Rodney Perry served as the show’s headliner. The audience also enjoyed the eclectic sounds of the three-piece band, Gritz and Jelly Butter, who performed everything from Snoop’s “Gin and Juice” to Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.” Gourmet food was provided by Chef John Beals of Foodlovers Catering as well as cocktails.
Gritz and Jelly Butter performed a variety of R&B, Hip-Hop and Soul music
Highlights from the evening included Walker’s impression of Atlanta celebrities, T.I., Kandi Burruss and Mama Joyce. Williamson re-enacted scenes from Chestnut’s debut film, Boyz n the Hood while Perry led the audience through the largest pop-locking dance contest.
