They don’t call her the Queen Bey for nothing!

Mrs. Carter aka Beyoncé Knowles has a lot to be thankful for these days. Her current self-titled album has officially reached double Platinum status in the United States.  According to SR, the big news was announced recently with over 2,003,000 copies already sold.

The visual album, which was  secretly dropped last December, features 14 new songs and 17 videos including the smash hits “Drunk In Love,” “Partition,” “Blow,” and “XO.”

Speaking of millions, RO  is also reporting that Bey recently gave her hometown of Houston, Texas $7 million dollars to build a low-income housing complex for homeless men, women, and children. The random act of kindness was praised by her pastor, Rev. Rudy Rasmus during an interview with KHOU.

“She’s an incredible human being. Has an incredible heart and has been extremely helpful in our mission and our ministry here. She has a global platform and is doing some amazing work and I’m glad she’s a friend of mine.”

Congrats Bey!
