What (or Who) is to blame for Beyoncé & Jay Z’s ‘On The Run Tour’ low ticket sales?

Powerhouse couple Beyoncé & Jay Z are set to launch their joint On The Run Tour this month!

The superstars will start the co-headlining concert tour in Miami, FL on June 25…but what is the reason for their reportedly weak ticket sales?

The family drama combined with a lack of airplay may be contributing to lackluster sales, according to a report on Tuesday by RadarOnline.com.

A review of Ticketmaster found tens of thousands of tickets remained available for the tour launch in Miami as well as for concerts in Atlanta on July 15 and on July 12 in New Jersey.

RC fans, what are your thoughts?  Are the sales low because:

  • The couple’s marriage is reportedly being rocked by cheating scandals?
  • Beyoncé‘s sister Solange was caught on video attacking Jay Z after a Met Gala after party?
  • Fans would rather spend their hard-earned money on their summer vacay?
  • Ticket prices are too expensive?
  • People are simply not interested because the couple recently ended separate tours?
  • Fans feel like the couple is over-saturating the market & there is nothing more to see?

A source allegedly told Radar Online, “To the public, Beyoncé and Jay Z appear to have it all.  But behind closed doors , they’re not as happy as people think they are.”

Interesting!
