A BIG congratulation goes to actress, singer and activist Keke Palmer. The 20-year-old performer is teaming up with BET for a new talk show aimed at millennials titled, The Keke Palmer Project.

According to ESSENCE, Palmer’s show will air for four-weeks beginning this July and will focus on fashion, pop culture, social issue and sex. The series is also being executive produced by Judge Greg Mathis and makes Palmer the ‘youngest talk show host in TV history.’

“I started posting these quotes on my Twitter page and the fans responded so positively! I realized that many of them were dealing with similar issues and the quotes helped open up dialogue between us,”  said the actress in a statement about why she created the show.

Palmer has enjoyed a very successful acting career, starring in such blockbuster film and TV shows as Akeelah and the Bee, True Jackson VP, Madea’s Family Reunion, Barbershop 2: Back in the Business.  She most recently appeared in VH1’s hugely popular biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story  and Lifetime’s version of the Broadway play, A Trip to Bountiful.

Kudos Keke!
