Janelle Monae, Ludacris & more attend Atlanta Premiere of ‘RIO2’ (PHOTOS)

20th Century Fox hosted a special red carpet presentation of RIO 2  on Monday, April 7th at Regal Atlantic Station.  Local guests who stopped by the carpet included the film’s director Carlos Saldanha, Grammy-winner and soundtrack artist Janelle Monae, rapper Ludacris and his daughter Karma and reality starlet Towanda Braxton.

Also in attendance were musician Curtis Fields, actor Todd Chrisley, NFL star Matt Bryant, Walking Dead  star Meyrick Murphy, Atlanta Exes  Torrei Hart, former Atlanta Falcon Chauncey Davis and CNN’s Sanjay Gupta and his family.

RIO2  follows Blu, Jewel and their three kids as they leave their domesticated life in the city of Rio de Janeiro for a journey to the Amazon rainforest.  Blu tries to fit in and goes beak-to-beak with the vengeful Nigel, and meets the most fearsome adversary of all: his father-in-law. The movie features the voices of Anne Hathaway, will.i.am, Jamie Foxx, George Lopez, Tracy Morgan and Monae’s hot new dance single, “What is Love?”
