Deadline is reporting that rocker and fashion designer Gwen Stefani may be taking Christina Aguilera’s place on NBC’s popular music competition, The Voice.

Reportedly, the 44-year-old singer is in talks with the network to replace the pregnant Aguilera as a vocal coach for Cycle 7.  The platinum-selling singer-songwriter is also said to be in the running as a judge for ABC’s new interactive singing competition, Rising Star.

If Stefani is chosen for The Voice, she will join her long time musical collaborator, Pharrell Williams, who recently replaced Cee Loo Green for the upcoming cycle.

Stefani rose to superstardom as the co-founder and lead vocalist of No Doubt and has a trail of hit singles including “Spiderwebs,” “Just a Girl,” “Don’t Speak” and “Hollaback Girl.”

Stay Tuned…
