“Honey, I’m in the Smithsonian”

Wendy Williams made history during Friday’s show when she became the first talk show host to donate items from her show to the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.

Williams along with the museum’s Curator of the Entertainment Collection, Dwight Blocker Bowers, officially inducted seven signature items including her first promotional dress and Louboutin shoes purchased by the show, a wig with wig head and her bejeweled purple “Ask Wendy” microphone that is used during her popular Q&A segment.  Other items included a light up “diva fan” with her famous catchphrase, “How You Doin?” and the script from her 500th episode.
