Idol  winner Fantasia is saying goodbye for now to Broadway’s After Midnight.  The Grammy-winning singer and actress has been thrilling audiences every night since the show’s premiere last November.

Musically directed by jazz icon Wynton Marsalis, After Midnight  pays tribute to the jazz age and the legacy of Duke Ellington’s during his years at the famous Cotton Club in New York City. It features a number of singers, high-flying dancers and classic standards such as “Stormy Weather” and “Sunny Side of the Street” which Fantasia posted today on her Facebook page.

As previously reported, After Midnight  will also feature a variety of rotating music stars including K.D. Lang, who takes over this month and R&B music duo Toni Braxton and Babyface. They will join the production in March.
