Multi-Platinum recording artist and actress Vanessa Williams is returning to Broadway this spring as a special guest star in the critically acclaimed musical, After Midnight.  The singer, who recently starred in the Broadway play, A Trip to Bountiful,  will take the stage April 1 through May 11.

As previously reported After Midnight  is a celebration of Duke Ellington’s music from his day at Harlem’s Cotton Club. The show also reintroduces the club’s rich and exciting tradition of welcoming the stars of today in limited engagements throughout the musical’s run.

American Idol  winner  Fantasia opened the show last November and completed her run earlier this month. Four-time Grammy Award-winning singer k.d. lang is appearing in the show now through March 9 and will be followed by Grammy Award winners Toni Braxton and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, who will guest star March 18-30.

Additional stars will soon be announced. Click here to purchase tickets.
