Eight-time Grammy-nominated artist Ledisi is hitting the road this spring. The 41-year-old vocal powerhouse is teaming up with ESSENCE for the Ledisi: The Truth Tour with special musical guest, The Robert Glasper Experiment (RGE).
The 29-city tour is in support of her new album, The Truth which will be available on March 11. The series kicks-off in Jacksonville, Florida with stops in Detroit, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles and a final stop in Sacramento, CA.
This is not the first collaboration between Ledisi and RGE. She provided vocals for his uptempo song “Gonna Be Alright (FTB)” off of his 2012 Grammy-winning album, Black Radio.
