Fans of Outkast will have not one, not two but 40 chances to see the hip-hop duo in 2014.
According to the group’s Facebook page, André 3000 and Big Boi are planning to perform at 40 different shows throughout the year in celebration of the 20th anniversary release of their classic debut album, “Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.”
“Returning to the stage together is the most exciting way for us to thank everyone for their 20 years of supporting Outkast,” said André 3000 in the Facebook message. “I’m looking forward to rocking the stage with my Bro Ski and to all the fans – stank you smelly much, this is for y’all!,” said Big Boi.
The big news comes of the heels of the group officially announcing their return to the stage and studio. As previously reported, Outkast will headline this year’s Coachella Festival in April and have since added The Governors Ball, which takes place June 6-8 in New York City.
RC will keep you posted as this continues to develop.
