Hey RC fans here are the latest headlines trending in music…

Grammy-winning performer Usher is reportedly back in the studio working on new music for an upcoming album. According to SR,  RCA CEO Peter Edge says the 35-year-old entertainer is putting together some “really outstanding music” with plans to debut some of it when he returns to NBC’s The Voice  on February 24.

“Usher is in the studio making what I think is one of his best records. It’s really outstanding. He’ll have a record to tie in with The Voice when he returns in the spring,”  Edge told Hits Daily Double in an interview focusing on RCA’s year in 2013 and what’s to come in 2014.

Pharrell Williams, Robin Thicke and music legend Stevie Wonder have been added to the growing list of musical artists for this year’s Grammy Awards according to a report released earlier this week. SR  has confirmed that Williams and Wonder will team up with Daft Punk and Thicke will join veteran pop-rock band Chicago for performances. LL Cool J returns as host for this year’s show which airs live from L.A.’s STAPLES Center on Sunday, January 26 at 8 p.m. on CBS.

IT’S OFFICIAL…again!

After weeks of speculation and rumors, Atlanta based hip-hop titans, Outkast will indeed reunite for this year’s Coachella Festival April 11 & 18. According to the AJC, the news was officially confirmed (again) last night by a tweet from festival organizers followed by one from Big Boi that said: “Now you know!!! Stay tuned #Outkast.”  It is also being reported that he posted another message, “Stay Tuned!!!”  on his Tumblr page as well.

If you recall, we reported last year that group was getting back together after a number of Big Boi and Andre 3000 sightings started popping up all over the internet. Although, Big Boi hinted at a possible reunion, he remained tight-lipped about details until last night.  Outkast fans can now breath a sigh of relief!
