Posted by | Ray Cornelius

The first poster for Tyler Perry’s Single Mom’s Club  has been released. It’s the first film of the year for the multi-talented filmmaker as well as the first release since his holiday film Madea’s Christmas,  which didn’t perform well at box offices.

As previously reported, Tyler Perry’s Single Mom’s Club  centers on a group of single mothers from varying backgrounds, who are brought together via an incident at the school their children attend, leading to the creation of a support group that helps all of them overcome personal obstacles.

The film includes an all-star cast Nia Long, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Zulay Henao, and Cocoa Brown along with William Levy, Terry Crews, Eddie Cibrian, Amy Smart, Ryan Eggold and Tyler Perry himself.

According to ESSENCE, Tyler Perry’s Single Mom’s Club  will also become a TV series on OWN. The show is part of the network’s new line up, which also includes Lindsay  (March 9th), Deion’s Family Playbook  (March 1) and Love in the City  (April 12th).

Tyler Perry’s Single Mom’s Club  would be his fourth show on OWN, which already includes The Haves and the Have Nots, For Better or Worse,  and Love Thy Neighbor.
