Hip-hop stars T.I. and Jeezy teamed up for Tis the Season for Giving  Friday night at Metroplex in Southwest Atlanta. The event was presented by Music Education Group in partnership with Fulton County Youth Commissioner A. Reginald Crossley, the Phi Kappa Kappa Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Walmart, T.I.’s Give like a King  and media partner, V-103.

The three-hour celebration served over 1,800 children grades K-12 and featured a variety of games, prizes, skating, and food. Entertainment was provided by 106 & Park’s DJ Fresh and well as We Are Toonz, who performed their hit single and latest dance craze, “Nae Nae.” Also adding to the excitement was V-103’s Greg Street who was broadcasting live.

Jeezy, T.I. and his wife Tiny were on hand to personally pass out gifts and food bags provided by Walmart. As previously reported, both rappers have been involved with the event for a number of years and were elated to once again provide gifts for many of Atlanta’s underprivileged children.

“Presents are cool, but to be able to look into a child’s eyes and remind them that they can become and do anything they put their mind to, is one of the greatest gifts we could ever give,”  said T.I.
