Before catching a flight to perform on David Letterman last night, hip-hop star T.I. and his Grand Hustle family passed out turkeys and collard greens yesterday to under privileged families in Atlanta.

The ‘King of South’ held his sixth annual turkey giveaway at the Adamsville Recreational Center. Along with the help from Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and Councilman C.T. Martin, T.I. was able to supply dinner for hundreds of grandparents who are raising their grandchildren.

“Our annual turkey drive means so much to me. Each year we are able to give more and more…and me and my team will continue to focus on growing our efforts in the Atlanta community during the holiday seas and beyond,” says T.I.

The rapper has a lot to be thankful for this season. T.I.  just recently signed to Columbia Records and is said to be partnering with Pharrell Williams on the label’s new album which will debut sometime in spring 2014.

Now this is why RC loves T.I.
