Dwayne Wade’s ‘Three the Hard Way’ is coming to Fox

Miami Heat player Dwayne Wade is a man of many talents. He’s an NBA All-Star, a rising shoe designer, a well-respected philanthropist and fashion icon (anyone who sits next to Anne Wintour during Mercedes Benz-Fashion Week, is an icon our book). So now the love of Gabrielle Union’s life is scoring major points off the court as a television producer for a new Fox series.

According to Variety, Wade’s semi-biographical comedy is titled Three The Hard Way  and follows “Daryl Wade and his eclectic entourage, who find themselves parenting by committee when the lead gets full custody of his two young sons.”

The show is loosely based on Dwayne’s real Life relationship with his two sons Zaire and Zion and his journey as a single father. The show will also take pointers from his best-selling book that was released last year titled, “A Father First: How My Life Became Bigger than Basketball.”

Reportedly, this is the first of many projects from Wade’s ZZ Productions and is being co-produced by Wade along with Mike Tollin, Justin Lin, Daniel Woodrow and Troy Craig Poon of Perfect Storm Entertainment.

Kudos to Wade!
