DVR Alert: FLOTUS talks to ‘106 & Park’ about higher education + PHOTOS

Today will a monumental show for BET’s 106 & Park viewers as First Lady Michelle Obama sits down and talk to co-hosts Bow Wow and Keshia Chanté about the importance of higher education.

According to the press release, this special edition of 106 & PARK was taped yesterday and is dedicated to bringing an empowering message on the importance of education directly to the LIVEST audience on television.

Reportedly, FLOTUS will share her personal story of the pivotal role education played in her life.  She will also talk about the President’s “North Star” Goal which aims to see America return to its position as the country with the highest proportion of college graduates in the world by 2020.

The 106 & Park audience comprised of local New York City high school and college students.  Former BET host Jeff Johnson was also on hand to help moderate the discussion.
