Atlanta’s Regal Cinema at Atlantic Station was filled to capacity for last night’s premiere of The Best Man Holiday. Everyone in the city (literally) was trying to get in and see the highly anticipated sequel to the classic 90’s film.
A number of ATL singers, rappers, actors, socialites and reality-stars came out to support the film including Tameka Raymond, Angie Stone, Rain Forest Films’ Will Packer and Rob Hardy and Alex Dilworth of The New Atlanta. Also spotted on the red carpet were Jeezy, Carl Payne, Lisa Wu and cast members of Tyler Perry’s Love Thy Neighbor and The Have and Have Nots. There was even a surprise appearance by the film’s director Malcolm Lee and two of the film’s stars Regina Hall and Morris Chestnut.
The Best Man Holiday was the closing night film for the 4th annual BronzeLens Film Festival, which opened last week with a screening of the documentary, Alice Walker: Beauty in Truth.
The Best Man Holiday opens in theaters nationwide this Friday, November 15.
