She did THAT!
Grammy-winner Alicia Keys is absolutely flawless for the November cover of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. The actress and philanthropist, who is on the Asian leg of her ‘Set the World on Fire’ tour, rocks several gorgeous looks from fashion kings Gucci, Michael Kors, J. Mendel, and Oscar de la Renta.
Inside, Keys dishes about a variety of topics including motherhood, marriage, fashion, healthy eating and remaining positive. She also talks about her latest film project, The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete and her Keep a Child Alive Black Ball which recently raised funds for HIV/AIDS research and awareness.
Check out pics from the photoshoot as well as excerpts from the interview:
“I’ve started from very humble beginnings and literally just dreams, but to see how dreams can become real is definitely a very powerful feeling.”
“I’m really not a big pouffy dress kind of girl. But it was so awesome because I’m standing on this ladder of a water tower with the whole city in the background…It was the only way that I was meant to be in a pouffy dress, so I just went with it.”
“Motherhood has made me so much better, so much happier;
it’s also given me a better sense of self and who I am.”
“Life is meant to be lived and its about finding that happy balance.”
“It’s amazing, a huge privelege, to be considered somebody that people would look to for inspiration or something good…I just want to be someone that helps people to see more light, because there is so much darkness all around.”
